My name is Ben Ashley-Kappler. I started this business in 2021, but really I’ve been doing it my whole life.

My parents owned Read’s Creek Nursery in Readstown WI, and I spent 14 years learning to water, shovel, plant, and most certainly, love machinery.

I went to Youth Initiative High School in Viroqua, and loved sports and all things outdoors.

Taking someone’s thoughts and ideas about their landscape and coming up with creative ways to express them is very gratifying work.

We are a small, locally owned business in La Farge, WI. Our retail shop, new in 2026, is a further extension of ways to meet customers needs. DIY advice always available!
